Membership Application/Renewal

Membership of the ICMA is available for complete calender years only, running January 1st to December 31st, irrespective of the date of application. Membership is renewable annually. Sorry, no pro-rata reductions are available for mid-year applications.

Levels of membership

Individual Membership

Membership is open to any individual, regardless of affiliation or professional status. Lower subscription rates are available to senior members (65+) and to students [proof of entitlement required].

Sustaining Membership

Individuals who wish to provide additional financial support to the ICMA each calendar year may do so through the Sustaining Membership option.

Institutional & Corporate Membership

Academic institutions and Corporations may take out membership of the ICMA. Institutional and corporate members may send up to two individuals to the annual ICMC at the ICMC member registration rate, receive one additional copy of the annual ICMC Proceedings for each paid ICMC member-rate registration, receive access to the ICMA mail labels, Free ARRAY advertisement, banner placement on ICMA Web page with link, and member rates on ICMA Publications.

  • Subscription rate of $39 vs. $53 for Computer Music Journal

  • Subscription rate of 30 vs. 39 pounds sterling (US$45 vs. $59) for Organised Sound (includes free CD per year).

  • Discounts on purchases made from the Electronic Music Foundation (www.emf.org)

  • Discounts on purchases of recordings on the Consortium to Distribute Computer Music (CDCM) Label.

  • Discounts on all ICMA Publications and Recordings (ICMC Proceedings back issues, CDs, books, etc.)
